New Balance will be releasing new color of flagship model M2040 for fall and winter season!

グレーのワントーンだったボディは、昨今のニューバランスで着実に人気を獲得しているネービーにアレンジ。アウトソールにはレッドとホワイトを効果的に取り入れ、アメリカを象徴する「スター＆ストライプス」を喚起させるカラーリングに仕上げられています。

For upper leather material, it is using popular navy color instead of New Balance authentic gray and combining its navy with America's "Stars and Stripes@ inspired red and white outsole to maintain its luxury tone and manner.

今作も、サイドパネルの"N"マークには細長い書体を採用しながらも、同色に仕上げて立体感を消し、ドレスシューズっぽさを継続。

Also it is featuring sonic welding N logo with same color as upper leather material in order to continuously express this model as luxurous dress shoes instead of sneaker.

そしてもちろん、今までのモデル同様にミッドソールには最新テクノロジー「レブライト（REVLITE）」を搭載し、とにかく軽量で高水準の耐久性 やクッ ション性はキープ。アウトソールはこれまで使用していたランニング中に起こる過度な足の捻れを抑制し、軽量性と安定性を兼備したカーボンファイバーも採 用。インソールには、快適で通気性・防臭性に優れるオーソライト（ORTHOLITE）社製のフットベッドを使用し、細部に至るまで機能性を高めています。

For technology aspect, it is using latest cushioning technology "REVLITE" for its midsole and carbon fiber plate used in performance running shoes on outsole. Last but not least, it is using Ortholite insert to provide breathable and comfortable fitting for all customers.

前作よりはカジュアル度が増し、スニーカーらしい表情にまとまりましたが、アメリカの老舗タンナーであるホーウィン（HORWEEN）社製のヌバックを採用することでラグジュアリーな表情は健在。

Comparing to the previous charcoal gray M2040, it seems very casual, but nubuck leather used in new M2040 is also premium leather from HORWEEN company.
