今までにも、最も裸足に近い状態のフットウェアを目指して誕生させた「ニューバランスミニマス（new balance MINIMUS）」のソールユニットに、ブランドのフィロソフィを体現するオーセンティックなモデルM996のアッパーデザインを融合させた「ML72」や、パフォーマンスランニングシューズでも使用されている高機能ミッドソール「レブライト（RevLite）」のソールユニットに、同じくM996のアッパーを融合させた「MRL996」など、革新的でハイブリッドなモデルを世に送り出し続けて来たニューバランス。

Up to this day, New Balance has been releasing innovative hybrid models that combine authentic upper and innovative performance sole, such as MINIMUS sole for ML72 and REVlite midsole for MRL996.

2015年には、クッション性に優れたソフトで軽量な素材と、内外非対称なヘキサゴン構造を融合させることで、心地好いクッショニングと確かなサ ポート性を高め、自然なライド感を実現させたソールユニット「フレッシュフォーム（FRESH FOAM）」に、オーセンティックなアッパーを融合させたハイブリッドモデルが登場するという噂が囁かれています。

And the big news is that New Balance is producing next hybrid model that combine latest performance midsole unit called "FRESH FOAM" and authentic silhouette. Needless to say that "FRESH FOAM" will provide everyone a luxurious cushioning and superb lightweight feeling.

今回届いたビジュアルから察するに、ミドルカットで、スウェードベースに仕上げたニューバランスらしいオーセンティックなアッパーが搭載される模様。

From the visual we have received, it seems like the new hybrid model will be mid cut silhouette with a combination of suede leather and mesh upper.

今後詳細が明かされていく模様で、ML72やMRL996の完成度の高さを考えると今回のハイブリッドモデルもかなり期待が出来そう。
